IOCL Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 537 Apprentice Posts in Pipelines Division

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), a Fortune Global 500 Company and India’s largest commercial enterprise, has released an official notification for the engagement of Apprentices under The Apprentices Act, 1961 in its Pipelines Division.

This recruitment drive aims to fill 537 Apprentice positions across various states in India. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the NATS/NAPS portals and IOCL Pipelines portal.

Vacancy Details
The total number of vacancies is 537, distributed across regions:

  • Eastern Region Pipelines (ERPL): 156 posts
  • Western Region Pipelines (WRPL): 152 posts
  • Northern Region Pipelines (NRPL): 97 posts
  • Southern Region Pipelines (SRPL): 47 post
  • South Eastern Region Pipelines (SERPL): 85 posts

Trades Available
Apprentices will be engaged in the following trades:

  1. Technician Apprentice (Mechanical, Electrical, Telecommunication & Instrumentation)
  2. Trade Apprentice (Assistant – Human Resource)
  3. Trade Apprentice (Accountant)
  4. Data Entry Operator (Fresher)
  5. Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification
  • Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engg.
  • Technician Apprentice (Electrical): Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engg.
  • Technician Apprentice (Telecom & Instrumentation): Diploma in Electronics/Instrumentation disciplines.
  • Trade Apprentice (Assistant HR): Graduate in any discipline.
  • Trade Apprentice (Accountant): Graduate in Commerce.
  • Data Entry Operator (Fresher): 12th Pass.
  • Domestic Data Entry Operator: 12th Pass + Skill Certificate in Data Entry.

👉 Candidates must have completed the required qualification on or before 31.08.2025.

Age Limit (as on 31.08.2025)

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 24 years
  • Age relaxation applicable as per Govt. rules (SC/ST: 5 years, OBC-NCL: 3 years, PwBD: 10 years).

Selection Process

  • Selection will be based on merit list prepared from qualifying exam marks.
  • No written test or interview will be conducted.
  • Final selection subject to document verification and medical fitness.

Stipend

Monthly stipend will be paid as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and IOCL guidelines.

Important Notes

  1. Candidates can apply for only one trade code.
  2. Higher professional qualifications like B.Tech/MBA/CA/LLB are not eligible.
  3. No accommodation or allowances other than stipend will be provided.

  1. Completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee employment in IOCL.
